New York Real Estate Institute Info:
The New York real estate industry is regulated by the NY Department of
State. In order to lawfully gain employment in the New York real estate
industry, you must be licensed by the NY Department of State. This is a
relatively simple process. Here are the steps you need to take:
- Register
and attend a 45-hour real estate salesperson course in an
accredited real estate school.
- Take
and pass the school and state real estate salesperson exam.
- Have
a real estate broker sponsor your application.
